Tips
- Price follows stitch count: a left-chest logo costs far less than a full back design.
- Same detailed logo on many kinds of items? Custom patches (sewn or ironed on later) are often cheaper.
Design rules
- Minimum text height ~5 mm (0.25 in); lines thinner than 1 mm will not stitch.
- Limit to 6-8 thread colors, no gradients or photographic detail.
- Bold outlines and simple silhouettes stitch best; the manufacturer 'digitizes' the art into a stitch file (sometimes a one-time fee).
