Design rules
- Needs a 3D file (STL/STEP/3MF); from a sketch, a CAD designer builds it first.
- Minimum wall thickness ~1-2 mm (FDM) or ~0.8 mm (resin/SLS); avoid large unsupported overhangs.
- Split parts larger than ~250 mm to fit printer beds; state loads and temperatures for functional parts.
